Jayne is going to the State Track Meet this Friday and Saturday at the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse. This is her third trip to State in her third different event - the 4x200 relay. In previous years, Jayne has qualified in the 100m dash and 4x100 relay (two times).
In what is considered to be the most competitive Sectional in Wisconsin, the 4x200 relay dropped more time from their school record set last week in a third place time of 1:44.62.

Kenzie - Anchor of the 4x200 (Kenzie brought the team up from 4th to 3rd to qualify. The top three finishes qualified for State.)
The 4x100 relay ran a season best time of 50.11. (Jayne's relay school record from last year was 50.03.) This relay just missed the cut to go to State. The 4x100 ran just 8 1/2 minutes after the 4x200 with three of the same runners, which didn't allow for much recovery time.
The 4x200 will run Friday morning in prelims, and if they qualify in the top ten, they will run Saturday morning. Results available on June 6-7 on the WIAA website.
